BROTHERS & GOALS PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: August 28, 2026

Brothers & Goals respects the privacy of our members, players, team captains, volunteers, parents/guardians, spectators, and others who participate in our community, tournaments, events, and activities.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Brothers & Goals may collect, why we collect it, how it may be used, and how we work to protect it.

1. INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT

When you register with Brothers & Goals, join a team, create a team, volunteer, register for an event, or otherwise participate in our community, we may collect information such as:

• Full name

• Email address

• Phone number

• Date of birth or age

• Congregation

• Soccer position

• Team name and team information

• Team captain information

• Registration and event participation information

• Optional social media information, such as an Instagram username

• Parent or legal guardian information when appropriate

• Other information voluntarily provided through our registration forms

We only request information that is reasonably related to operating Brothers & Goals and our activities.

2. WHY WE COLLECT DATE OF BIRTH

Brothers & Goals organizes physical sporting activities, including soccer.

For safety and organizational purposes, we may collect a participant's date of birth to verify their age and determine whether they are old enough to participate independently.

Date of birth information may be used to:

• Verify a participant's age

• Determine whether parent or legal guardian involvement is required

• Help organize appropriate participation

• Meet safety requirements

• Apply age requirements for particular tournaments, games, divisions, or activities

Providing a date of birth does not automatically guarantee eligibility to participate.

Brothers & Goals does not intend to publicly display a participant's full date of birth as part of normal public team rosters or event information.

3. MINORS AND PARENT/GUARDIAN AUTHORIZATION

If a participant is under the applicable age required to participate independently, Brothers & Goals may require permission, authorization, or registration involvement from a parent or legal guardian before the individual is permitted to participate.

A parent or legal guardian may be required to provide appropriate information and acknowledge applicable event rules, notices, or requirements on behalf of the minor.

Brothers & Goals may restrict participation until any required parent or guardian authorization has been received.

4. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Information collected by Brothers & Goals may be used to:

• Process and review registrations

• Approve members and participants

• Approve players, captains, teams, and volunteers

• Verify age and participation eligibility

• Organize teams and team rosters

• Manage team captains

• Manage tournaments, games, events, and other activities

• Communicate important announcements and event information

• Manage free-agent and team-placement requests

• Maintain player and participation records

• Help maintain the safety and organization of our activities

• Improve Brothers & Goals events and community programs

5. TEAM REGISTRATION AND TEAM CAPTAINS

Brothers & Goals may allow individuals to register as team captains, request the creation of a team, select an available team, or request a team name.

Team names and team registrations are subject to Brothers & Goals approval.

Brothers & Goals may reject or request changes to a team name when necessary, including if the requested name:

• Is already being used by another team

• Is substantially similar to another team name

• Contains offensive, inappropriate, discriminatory, or otherwise unacceptable language

• Could reasonably create confusion

• Does not meet Brothers & Goals community standards

Approval of a captain or team does not automatically approve every individual player associated with that team.

Players may still be subject to the applicable Brothers & Goals registration and approval process.

6. INFORMATION AVAILABLE TO TEAM CAPTAINS

Certain participant information may be made available to an approved team captain when reasonably necessary to organize and communicate with that captain's team.

Team captains are expected to use member information only for legitimate Brothers & Goals and team-related purposes.

Captains should not unnecessarily distribute, publish, sell, or misuse personal information belonging to players or other members.

7. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO, AND EVENT RECORDING NOTICE

Brothers & Goals events are community and sporting events where photography, video recording, livestreaming, or other media coverage may take place.

By registering for or attending a Brothers & Goals event, participants acknowledge that they may appear in photographs, videos, game footage, event highlights, background footage, group photographs, livestreams, social media content, website content, or other Brothers & Goals promotional and community materials.

Because soccer events involve multiple players, spectators, volunteers, and participants moving throughout shared spaces, Brothers & Goals cannot guarantee that a particular individual can be removed, blurred, cropped, or excluded from every photograph or video in which they may appear.

If a participant has a concern regarding a particular photograph or video, they may contact Brothers & Goals. We will review reasonable requests when possible.

However, removal cannot be guaranteed, particularly when an individual appears as part of a team, crowd, group photograph, game, background footage, livestream, event recording, or content that has already been distributed or published.

Brothers & Goals may use event photographs and recordings for legitimate Brothers & Goals purposes, including:

• Event coverage

• Game and tournament highlights

• Brothers & Goals social media

• The Brothers & Goals website

• Event announcements

• Community highlights

• Promotional materials

• Historical documentation of Brothers & Goals events

8. EVENT RECORDING NOTICE FOR MINORS

When minors participate in Brothers & Goals activities, parent or legal guardian authorization may be required where applicable.

Because Brothers & Goals sporting events may be photographed or recorded, parents and guardians should understand that a minor participating in an event may appear in group photographs, game footage, background footage, event highlights, or other recordings.

Brothers & Goals will follow applicable requirements concerning minors and event participation.

9. INFORMATION SHARING

Brothers & Goals does not sell members' personal information.

Personal information may be shared when reasonably necessary to:

• Operate Brothers & Goals

• Organize teams and events

• Provide requested services

• Communicate with participants

• Protect participants and the organization

For example, Brothers & Goals may use Spond for club and community management.

Information submitted through a third-party platform may also be subject to that provider's own privacy policy, terms, and security practices.

Brothers & Goals may add, remove, or change service providers as our organization develops.

11. PAYMENTS

If Brothers & Goals accepts registration fees, tournament fees, team fees, merchandise payments, or other payments through a third-party payment provider, payment information may be processed by that provider.

Brothers & Goals may maintain records showing payments, amounts, registration status, or transaction information necessary for organizational and recordkeeping purposes.

The processing and storage of payment card or financial information may be governed by the policies of the applicable payment provider.

12. INFORMATION SECURITY

Brothers & Goals takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from unauthorized access, misuse, unnecessary disclosure, alteration, or loss.

However, no website, online platform, electronic communication, or electronic storage system can guarantee complete security.

13. INFORMATION RETENTION

Brothers & Goals may retain registration, membership, team, event, payment, and participation information for as long as reasonably necessary for organizational, administrative, safety, recordkeeping, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes.

Information that is no longer reasonably needed may be deleted or removed when appropriate.

14. ACCESSING OR CORRECTING YOUR INFORMATION

You may contact Brothers & Goals if you would like to:

• Ask what personal information we maintain about you

• Correct inaccurate information

• Update your information

• Request deletion of certain personal information when applicable

• Ask questions about how your information is being used

• Raise a privacy concern

Certain information may need to be retained when reasonably necessary for administrative, safety, recordkeeping, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes.

15. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

Brothers & Goals may update this Privacy Policy as our organization, website, registration processes, tournaments, events, or services change.

When significant changes are made, an updated version of this Privacy Policy may be posted with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Participants are encouraged to review the current Privacy Policy when registering for Brothers & Goals activities.
